Kingdom Maker

Kingdom Maker is a Massively Multiplayer Online strategy game focused around building up your kingdom, forming alliances with others, and battling both the environment and other players to become the best kingdom!

For this game, I worked as a Client Engineer, which meant that I was tasked with implementing User Interfaces, fixing bugs, and maintaining and updating the codebase for the most optimal user experience. I worked closely with several disciplines to deliver the best gameplay experience possible to our players.
The End of the Line: New Age

For this game, I worked as a Unity Game Engineer and later as the Lead Unity Engineer for Legio Vox. I was tasked with planning and maintaining the codebase while creating design utilities and functionality for the game. As Lead Engineer, I worked with the Engineers on my team to develop major functionalities for the game and resolve any bugs that arose.

CRYSTAL COALESCENCE: DISPERSED
3rd Best Overall Game | Florida Poly Game Expo 2020
Crystal Coalescence: Dispersed is a sci-fi futuristic puzzle laser puzzle game where you must switch between 3 main characters with distinct abilities to solve puzzles and climb Laz'l Corp Tower to take down this evil futuristic corporation.

For this project, I was involved heavily with the design of the game. I worked as the head of art as I modeled, rigged, and animated 3D models, designed textures, adjusted lighting, and created the logo. I also worked close with my teammates to help resolve bugs and plan engineering tasks.

Day of Rest
Best Overall Game | Florida Poly Game Expo Fall 2019
Day of Rest was created for a game jam where the theme was "death helps the player." Going into this, I came up with an idea for a puzzle game where the player navigates the world and solves puzzles by being able to move your spawn point by throwing it! This would turn into an Egyptian Mythological adventure game, using the Egyption god Khepri as the source of the respawn ability.

For this game, I was in charge of the initial concept, the art direction, the story, and asset conversion.

The Tide Typer
Highschool Typing Game Project
For my High School capstone project, I created a small video game within Blender to demonstrate how video games and concepts therein could be used to enhance learning. The game I created was a typing game set in Colonial Florida to teach typing to young learners. Unlike many other typing games, this game gave the control to the player to decide how they got to each checkpoint through the various commands they could type.
The ship that I modeled for this was based off the Spanish Carrack, which was a ship used by Spanish sailors that arrived in Florida, further tying this game into the curriculum.
What a Waste! | A Paper Airplane Simulator
Virtual Reality Game
What a Waste! was created as a Virtual Reality tech demo for my Virtual Reality course at Florida Polytechnic University. Our team created a simple game within Unity, where the player would throw paper airplanes into various wastebins to earn points.

At its core, What a Waste! Is a physics simulator for objects in an environment, mainly the paper airplane which had to be able to fly and fall in a believable way.
This game was made playable on the Meta Quest.

For this project, I aided in the overall design as well as paired programming and debugging.
